Using the tool

Free Passport Photo is free to use for your own passport, visa and ID photos. You may share the website, but please do not copy it, resell it or try to overload it.

Photos you make

We size and crop your photo to the official measurements. The passport office decides if it is accepted, so check it against their rules. You are responsible for the photo you submit and for following the rules that apply to your application.

Not advice

The guidance on this site is general information, not legal or immigration advice. Rules change, so read the official page linked on each country page before you apply.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the measurements accurate and the tool available, but it is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be error free or online. To the extent the law allows, Nine By Sixteen Ltd is not liable for losses that come from using the tool, including a rejected photo or application.
